ORDER PROCESS
Converting 8mm & Super 8 to Other Digital Formats
Most customers transfer their 8mm film to DVD or BluRay. Some want both. Many times there are some family members that only have a DVD player while others have moved up to BluRay. BluRay has twice the resolution, so we do recommend BluRay but sometimes you may need a DVD for those other members of your family that only have a DVD player. We can transfer 8mm film to DVD, AVI files, Blu-Ray, HD-AVI, ProRes 422 and DPX. We can transfer Super 8 film to DVD, AVI files, Blu-Ray, HD-AVI, ProRes 422 and DPX. If you are looking for the best 8mm film conversion, then you found the best company that can give you the best quality.
We are the premiere film scanning company in the USA scanning all type of film (8mm, super 8, 16mm and 35mm) up to 4K resolution. Film is old (50-60 years old on average) and it shrinks over time. Today if you run your film on a projector or low-end film transfer machine you will damage the film. Make sure your film is being scanned on a professional film scanner (> $100,000) that doesn't use the sprocket holes to move the film through. If NASA trusts us to scan their moon footage and SpaceX trusts us to scan their first launch to the international space station you can trust us to scan your amateur or professional film.
