
Choosing the right process for your 16mm/35mm film will determine just how sharp the converted images are. Both 16mm and 35mm have a lot more resolution that any tape format since the 1980's. In fact, 16mm film as about 35% more resolution than your HDTV which 35mm film has about 25% more resolution then even the 4K TVs.
So, we recommend the Pro 2K scan at a minimum for for 16mm film and a 4K scan for 35mm film.
